Born in India, Isabel Barreto left when she was 13, to live in the Middle East, Greece, Portugal and the US, before finally settling in London. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, she carved an impressive career in Real Estate both internationally and in the UK, being an early proponent of the loft conversion and loft living concepts.

Notwithstanding her commitment and dedication in her Real Estate roles, Isabel always maintained a keen interest in jewellery and constantly sourced unusual pieces from her many travels. Her desire to maintain a firm bond with her birthplace, coupled with the ever growing passion for jewellery, led her, at the end of 2006, to start her own jewellery design company.

Her company is a creative and culturally unique environment, where Isabel, working closely with small boutique craftsmen in India, chooses top quality semi precious stones which are hand crafted in sterling silver and gold plate.  Her designs while contemporary and unusual remain classic at heart. The collections are fresh, the attention to detail is exquisite and the finish impeccable.
